Just went to Roaring Nights on Friday. A lot of the zoo was closed off, but luckily my Mom and I got to see Rainforest of the Americas. We thought it was pretty good, although of course there weren't any glare problems at the time. A zookeeper informed us that one of the Otters was off exhibit because she had just pups! I saw that the World of Birds show stage has been completely redone. I thought it was a fun idea to bring in food trucks and a band. The best part, though, was walking around Adventure Island and the Prairie Dog exhibit at night. It was kind of spooky, especially since the pools at Adventure Island have been drained, and it was very dark. Of course, it's not like a zoo meant to be seen in the daytime is going to have good lighting. I stuck my head up inside one of the Prairie Dog bubbles just like I used to when I was a kid. That ceiling is much lower than I remembered! Have any other Zoochatters been to Roaring Nights?
I have not been to Roaring nights because of work, but I'll hopefully go to one this year. The zoo posted some photos in their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10154325601685273.1073741855.242124560272&type=1 It has photos of the caiman exhibit without the glare.
