Doesn't seem to have been reported elsewhere = a Black-shanked Douc was born in February at Saigon Zoo.

Is that a first or have there been more births till date.
How big is their group of black shanked douc?

According to ZIMS, Saigon currently has 1.2.1 Black-shanked Doucs (and 1.1 Grey-shanked).
I'm not aware of previous births of B-S Doucs in the zoo, but can't give a definitive answer.

ZooBinh, what do you mean by this?

You are not certain they hold Indochinese tiger? Or other ssp. or just hybrids ... (???)!

Saigon has 1.2 Indochinese Tigers. No evidence of recent breeding.

Thanks! Indochinese Tigers are my favorite tiger, but I’m sure I heard somewhere they had cubs.
