the only place I can find it is on the San Diego Zoo's own website, where it is US$49.95.

It isn't currently on bookdepository or Amazon or any of the other online sellers, so I doubt you would be able to find it in a local UK bookshop.

I would think that the zoo would arrange shipment just about anywhere that someone would want the book? It probably would cost extra, but if you really want the book then inquire to the zoo about how to get it to you.

It says on their shipping page that they don't currently do international shipping ( Shipping - Shop San Diego Zoo ). Shame, these books look really interesting

Just to update if anyone outside the USA is still looking for these books. Amazon.com (*not Amazon.co.uk*) currently have them onsale in limited numbers for $50 dollars plus shipping. Combined it works out around $30 dollars cheaper than buying them direct from the zoo (despite the zoo currently selling them half price!)

I had these in my hands in the shop at San Diego in April, but decided to leave them and order from back home as they were big and heavy and I was pushing all of my luggage allowances as it was. Looking back, I should have found a way!

    Very nice publications indeed.

Of the hundreds of zoo books that I own I will declare that the San Diego double-volume is the best I've ever seen...simply brilliant from the packaging to the informative writing. Of note is that they are indeed extremely heavy...approximately 6-7 pounds (3 kilograms) and they are among the heaviest books that I own. Therefore, shoving them into a suitcase and travelling overseas might not be a viable option for many zoo enthusiasts.

Looking forward to buying this next week when I visit San Diego. Unfortunately my luggage allowance won't let me bring back copies for everyone on here or else I would.
