I wouldn't mix baboons with anything, especially something smaller. It would be like being permanently locked in a warehouse with a gang of heavily-armed soccer hooligans.
A small update from S-A: The mix between baboon and meerkat are still going well, just small conflicts. They have had lived together for about 6 weeks now. Here is a video from December 1. https://www.facebook.com/skansenakvariet/videos/vb.137841549606693/1018051648252341/?type=2&theater
This morning, the two 3 months Meerkat twins ''Lelle and Lasse'' were together with a keeper from S-A at SVT´s breakfast program ''Gomorron Sverige''. One of the pup didn't like to be in broadcast and thought it was more ''fun'' to explore the studio. Surikater på rymmen - Nyheter | SVT.se This is also the first pups which have been born in the pack which lives together with the baboon. In the future will just meerkat males live together with the baboons.
What's that? There is no animal with this name in English or Swedish. If you're not sure about its name, could you provide a link to the facebook post you mentioned? I checked their facebook and couldn't find anything like this.
Ok. That took a bit of checking. You're talking about the comments under this post: https://www.facebook.com/skansenakvariet/videos/vb.137841549606693/1102162503174588/?type=2&theater Reading the reply by Skansen, the feathertail gliders ("pygmeglidarna") were put on display about a month ago, but I've not visited in this period and they don't mention in their comment where the exhibit is located. Hopefully someone else knows.

Jonas Wahlström, the CEO of S-A; visited a breakfast tv show for a couple of weeks ago with newborn Cuban Crocodiles. Some of them were just a few hours old while some hadn't hatched yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QtJMytnLlw
Any historical data on that Cuban croc founders (you know there is a question with purity of Cubans mixed with other croc species on breeding farms from the 1950-1960's). There is also talk of sending some of the hatchling Cubans back to Cuba .. (somewhere at the start of the clip). BTW: Paignton Zoo imported a female from Skansen Akvariet around 2010 (confirmed as a pure-bred individual).
Skansen-Akvariet has only one breeding pair and they have sent cubans to Cuba in the past. They were sent to one of the farms to boost their genetic diversity.
A fantastic news from S-A! The Hoffmann's two-toed sloth female, Lillian gave a birth to a new little sloth baby yesterday. The new young is the third of this species to be born at S-A and have already two older brothers, Hadar & Hildor from same parents. Här är Skansens nya sengångarunge S-A is now holding 3.2.1 Hoffmann's two-toed sloth.
Made a visit today and some news: - One of the two sloth brothers from 2015, Hadar, has been moved to Newquay Zoo in England. - The former desert exhibit, previously holding gundis, antelope squirrels, birds and turtles is now empty. According to a keeper I talked to, the exhibit is being renovated for some kind of rodent and exiting news. After looking at the progress, i have some guesses but not quite sure yet what it might be. The new exhibit will open shortly. / Swedish Zoo Fan
