On Nov. 1st, 1929 a zoo and Botanical Garden was opened in this Theme Park in Takarazuka, Hyogo Prefect. The Theme Park became especially famous for its big shows with the Takarzuka Girls.

At times there were elephants, giraffes, lions, tigers and penguins in this Zoo. A unique future was the "Cubic Zoo": the "Cubic Zoo" was a 0.3 ha area in the western part of the park. The complex consisted of a 20m high glass dome with a diameter of 16m. In this area lived about 500 animals in about 80 species, among them hippos, Gemsboks, Black Bocks, Polar Bears and Flamingos.

The zoo was closed on April 4, 2003 and the 612 animals in 93 species were given to other zoos, including 0,1 Asian Elephant "Sakura" to the Grand Park Zoo in Seoul.

Now I am looking for more information about the zoo, but especially zoo maps or aerial photos. Can anyone help me?
