Does anyone know the current name and origin of the tawny lions at Darling Downs and where they came from? Also, have there been any lion births at DDZ and are they planning to breed them in the future?

I am not saying that he does, but all I am looking for is names and the place they came from, and if they have ever bred at the zoo. I have asked this as I have not managed to find out after numerous Google searches any names for the tawnies or even how many there are.

I'll give you some clues....All of them were bred by the Robinsons.

I wonder why UMaG didn't think to ask us?????

And why would a Google search reveal such details of someone's private property?

Sorry, but could you please list their names and etc. Thank you. Also, I have tried the website but it doesn't mention any names of the Tawny Lions so that is why I am asking.

So it's not just me. Steve seems to be going out of his way to be difficult.

Why doesn't Steve just answer the question posted?

This could be a great way to attract business to his zoo.

I now know two people that will never visit his zoo.

Hey Steve you beat me for the stupidist quote ever made by a person in the history of the world.

What doesn't Google know?. Private property or not, billions of things are on private property but Google knows about them.

Have you never spoken about your lions in a media release for a local newspaper, radio or tv interview. These are common ways the general public may learn about your 'private property'. Google searches these types of digital data for matches.

It may be you've never spoken about your lions in this new digital world, if so google may come up short.

Steve, can you access broadband internet?

    Serious question.

Is this a punt about my user name? Because if it is, I think I already have explained the circumstances I can not currently change it.

Sorry my first post wasn't constructive enough, but could you please further expand on this post. Your website mentions nothing of the tawny lions apart from the fact that you have two prides. Thank you by the way.

Briz mate take it easy. Neither this website nor this thread are a matter of life and death for anyone and it's very easy to misread posts. The way I see it, it's great that UMAG has such enthusiasm about zoos and a great interest in many zoo matters and he just didn't realise that he could have asked Steve directly about the lions. Then a few people gave UMAG a tongue-in-cheek hard time because of that, including Steve. Regardless of the harmless banter, ultimately it's up to Steve whether he wants to provide the details being requested. Otherwise, Google away....
