I was trying to make some coat of arms for a project I was doing, and the only good service I could find, you had to pay for. Awful.
That's (of course) perfectly fine. I was simply only annoyed that I had to pay for online news, but @UngulateNerd92 definitely overplayed my simple issue and turned into a larger thing than it needed to be for clarification.
Do you think it costs nothing to make the news available? Do you think journalists and the people running those news websites should work for free? Or perhaps you feel your tax dollars should pay for it all - which means that you only get the news that the government wants you to hear? Or do you perhaps not actually pay for anything because you are too young and don't understand the basics of economics? Thinks that irritate me in life - people who expect everything on the internet to be free!
Fair points. Pardon my digression there, but I certainly don't want state sponsored news, unfortunately it feels like major news outlets here in the United States are essentially state propoganda, despite technically being privately owned. I say that because they seem to be submissive lapdogs that kiss up to people in power, rather than the watchdogs they should be holding those in power accountable. That is something that irritates me...
as you may know i am still in school and this is a school related one, when my teacher write in the text box type here and then you have to delete it.
another school related one, i am in french immersion so whenever i answer something in english my teacher will pretend she dosen't understand me
Dislikes being removed from YouTube videos: Whose stupid idea was this? Seeing how many likes vs dislikes a video had told me whether it was worth watching without even clicking on it. Seeing something has X amount of likes tells me nothing.
Another thing that really irritates me! I know that this is a part of life, but still... When people, institutions, or organizations are hard to get ahold of, especially during times or situations when you need them the most. Adding to this dynamic, as I said in an earlier post, also when people, institutions and organizations won't return your calls or correspondence.
This is happening again today with that same co-worker. There is a reason that one of my favorite sayings is, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I am trying to stay calm about it though...
Sore fingers are really annoying. I'm right handed, and my index finger has got an infection, it's swollen by the nail and it's bloody sore, it's pathetic to moan somewhat, but it is bloody irritating. I'm going to lance it tomorrow unless it sorts itself out over night. Right, back to the serious irritating............stuff...........
Another thing... When I am in the middle of a phone call, especially an important one and the call drops on me. This has actually happened a lot lately...
Chocolate bars (and similar products) getting smaller: The official line is the companies are doing it to fight obesity, but I doubt anyone’s stupid enough to believe that’s the reason. If they lowered the price, I’m sure nobody would object - but nope, that’s stayed the same (or even increased), while the consumer receives less product.
Ok here is another one. When people and institutions, especially potential employers (both in a paid capacity and in a volunteer/internship capacity) leave me hanging.
Yep, we’ve all been there. When you go for a job that’s just slightly above you and you’re not good enough to get an interview; not bad enough to be an instant reject. They keep you on a backlist in case the preferred candidates fall through, but don’t send out the reject letter until they have the person they want locked in.
Though I understand and respect what they are doing and even the positions/circumstances they are in, it feels inconsiderate and disrespectful and it makes me feel like I don't matter or that no one cares... or puts any effort or pride into what they are doing... Whether it is true or not, that is how it feels and looks...
