I visited this park today for the first time in almost five years, and it was quite nice to see how things develop. A short while ago, a new Madagascar house opened, with exhibits for ring-tailed lemurs and white-headed lemur. Additionally, there are some small fish and a gecko species, which where unfortunately not signed (yet) plus some centipedes or something similar. A big playground was built some time ago in the middle of the park, and some of the old monkey cages (where japanese macaques where kept) are being demolished. The patas monkey are also gone and being replaced with white-nosed coatis. Some things are still in motion, it seems the old monkey house will be replaced with an indoor playhouse, the old monkeys there will be relocated to the cages in the back (not much better, though) where currently there is a second group of the white-headed lemurs. The crab-eating macaques there are seemingly also gone. The former bird of prey aviary was also being worked on, crowned cranes where signed there which where on the african savannah exhibit. A new species since 2021 are two male Kirk's dik-dik.
I did a bit of research, and according to the park, the fish are Pachypanchax sakaramyi. No birds there, though. Also no info on the gecko, just that it is some species of madagascar day gecko. Didn't look like the usual Phelsuma grandis to me, so I can't tell, maybe I can find out more.
