    Saving the little dodo

    This needs two things mentioned
First has anyone of you seen the quiet big number of people that have read a certain thread and thought wow that is a lot
Second Has anyone of you read about a certain species and watched how little is and has been done for that species survival
if not to say how could it be that everything done in some case is watching them disapear
(sorry at this point, it is still a bit early)

A question came up adding these two

What could be done if this group of human would use their resources to become an active part of conservation (not money, though each a dollar would sum up quick, rather than their enthusiasm)

naive, for sure, but worth an experiment

    Why the tothed billed pigeon
well the distint relative and namesake is probably the most famous synonym for extinction, therefor the relation makes it a very good candidate

It was weird hearing that some animals on the cover a book about extinct animals were still alive two generations ago

It shouldn't come to the point where we are asked what we have done and know we haven't even tried

Wouldn't it be nice to have such a programme to simply see what power lays within this pool of enthusiast
