Some narcos had prívate zoos. Pablo Escobar had a large one which was taken by the authorities when he was killed. According to reports narcos are fond of large felines.

 

Narco zoos are owned by drug barons. As Carlos said, one of the most (in)famous ones was Pablo Escobar's, origin of the feral hippo population in Colombia.
