    I think it's an Otter-beaver-coypu?

Chlidonias have some weird avatar. Before he changed this otter-thing photo, he have a photo which I don't know either(I think is a person riding a....thing?)

Looked like some sort of white dragon, maybe it was in a Disney movie or something...

You are both clearly missing some elementary education: that was a still from the Neverending story with the Luckdragon Fuchur. The movie may not be the best, but it is one of the best children books ever written ;)

Mine is me feeding penguins at Whipsnade. I hace noticed that a lot of zoochatters have an animal in their name and an avatar of a different animal. I am guilty of that. :D

Sumatran tiger cub at the San Antonio Zoo. They were very active and would play with anything they could find in their exhibit, just like domestic kittens! I think this is the best photo I took of them.

Mine is a Cheetah cub. I took the picture at the San Diego Wild Animal Park nursery through the window. Cheetahs are my favorite wild mammal

I love pugs. One of my friend's had a really nice pug that sadly had to be put down recently. Such good dogs.

Mine is my own photo of Edinburgh's wildcat, but that's not why I'm replying to this.

Am I the only one that just associates members with the animal in their avatar haha? Like I'll see someone post and my immediate reaction is "Oh look African Elephant posted in that thread! That's an interesting topic African Penguin put up. Otter liked my comment!Oh nice photo greyscale tiger.' It's a good thing so many usernames are the animal in the icon!

For sure you're not alone :) I often associate members with their avatar animals, overall if they're members that write often and if they have very interesting, wished species (oh, you know, one of the admins is a marbled polecat!). Many members have indeed the same animal in the nickname than in the avatar (TheWalrus) while others have a different species in each of these (Chlidonias and his "beaverish" otter).

You are not the only one but not everyone has an avatar unfortunatley.
