Melbourne Zoo Wild Sea....

    I'm pretty sure Bass could jump up over and out of the enclosure if he wanted...the sides aren't particularly high.

    Exactly. The sides on the landed section are not designed to contain a gannet.

    Bass may be having trouble with the size of the pelicans he is housed with? If he goes downhill perhaps he can go back to the old penguin exhibit, which currently houses a pair of Australian shelducks.

    Yeah, I think he might be overwhelmed at the size of the pelicans. I haven't seen him in the water at all yet (and I'm there pretty much every week) He seems to stay on his little tree stump.
