The zoo has had a lot of recent success breeding felines, as in the past 7 years there have been litters of Sumatran Tigers, Snow Leopards, Ocelots, Lions and Jaguars. Each of the 5 cat species at the zoo has produced offspring since 2006, and currently with 4 Lion cubs and 3 Jaguar cubs (not to mention a new Small-Clawed Otter exhibit opening in the first week of May) the zoo should be extremely popular this summer and thus a roaring success. The award-winning Jaguar Cove finally saw its first babies, and they will guarantee large crowds on a hot summer day.
