    Honestly I think my favourite song ever is probably Mr. Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra. Pretty boring answer but it's just great.

    I think these favourite song things generally depend on mood. Personally I love older songs (not all of them and I don't think that current music would be worse than it was like 30 years ago, there must be some good bands today, too, but I'm quite sure that they aren't in the mainstream)
    But, to answer the question, currently my favourite songs are The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite and The End Of The World As We Know It by REM, In Your Room from Depeche Mode, Viva La Vida by Coldplay and Pictures Of You from The Cure.

    Ahh same! I love the last 40 seconds the most, the instrumental bit but equally adore the "Mr. Night" part too, All and all it's a perfect song.
