Hi, been reading the forum with interest and decided to type a few words of introduction.

Zoo fanatic originally from the UK but currently live in New Jersey, USA. My favourite zoo is still Whipsnade, where I was a volunteer for a time. I'm now a volunteer at my local zoo - Turtleback zoo in New Jersey. I'm a keen zoo photographer and hope to post some pictures when I get a few spare minutes.

I'm interested in zoo and exhibit history, one of my first zoo memories being of lambton lion park. I'm also a keen collector of guidebooks and all things Whipsnade.

Preferences and interest is with mammals and reptiles, while a bored vacant expression usually appears if you place me next to a bird exhibit for longer than 30 seconds, unless I have a camera in my hand!

Do you have any photos of the kangaroos at Turtleback? They are originally from Fort Wayne and your folks are picking up two young males from us on Wednesday. Welcome to Zoobeat!

The roos were in a temporary enclosure while a new Australian exhibit including a walk through aviary was constructed. I'll wait until the new guys are out of quaratine and get some photos of them in their new home for you.

Thanks so much! Apparently everything went well on the trip and our two little guys will have a surprise when they see how big Drake and Walter are! These two boys thought they were big stuff here!

Glad to know they're doing well. I talked to Jeremy at AZA and he said one was a little bit squirrely--he may calm down when he meets the big guys!
