Hey this is a completely random question does any one know of any cases in which animals in zoos, aquariums etc have used medical marijuana to treat animals with pain conditions exmpl glaucoma, arthritis etc?

Many animals, except for maybe the exception of some primates, probably wouldn't react to the drugs the same way we do.

I know they decided to test LSD on some elephants in '62. The first one they injected, a bull, they overdosed it, which caused it to run around several times and then collapse and die.

The next two they injected some years later (females), simply stood in a corner rocking and making strange sounds. They survived and seemed none the worse for wear.
