MRJ - what does ARAZPA plan to do with this video? Is it online only?

Who on earth thought that showing a dead bilby would make people want to buy chocolate?

i got that the daed bilby was a museum type specimum and that that might be the only place to see them, without conservation help. So the dead bilby is to get people to by certain brands of chocolate that put money into bilby conservation.

But... it won't work. It makes people feel bad. They won't buy chocolate, of all things, if it reminds them of bad things. Chocolate is an indulgence. It's supposed to make you feel good.

The Easter bilby campaign can and has worked. But showing dead bilbies isn't the way.

Yes it is an online video only, I think they hope it will become "viral".

To my mind the problem is that it is a "silent movie". I think if there was a voice over it would be easier to explain the point of the dead animal. But I don't think the aim is to sell chocolate, but raise awareness.
