    On March 30th, the zoo announced they have replaced the mulch flooring in the dayrooms for the giant pandas.

    On April 2nd, the zoo announced that a (0.0.1) prehensile-tailed skink was born.

    On April 4th, the zoo announced that (0.0.5) domestic chickens (breed(s) not specified) were hatched. They are currently in the Wieland Wildlife Home and will be available for public view when they get older.

    On May 17th, the zoo announced that (0.0.2) speckled pigeons were born and are on exhibit in the aviary. It is the first time in six years the zoo has bred this species.

    On June 8th, the zoo announced that a (0.0.1) bog turtle was born on May 21st. This is the first time since 1992 that the zoo has successfully bred the species.

    On July 9th, the zoo announced that a (0.0.1) superb starling was born in early June which can be seen with its parents in the aviary near the rock wall in KidZone.
