Since 2002 Zoo Curitiba is working on a breeding-programm with Amazons. At the moments 4 species are being kept and 3 of them are breeding : with the Red-browed amazon Curitiba had the Brazilian Zoo-first breeding the Vinaceous amazon is breeding quite well the Red-spectacled amazon has raised 22 young since 2010, last year alone 12 young were raised of this species Strange enough the Red-tailed amazon - the species with which the programm started in 2002 and from which at the moment 6 pairs are kept - has sofar not bred !

Hey, Vogel. That's some very sad news, but Pandinha definitely had a good life, despite not living in a great enclosure. I was fortunate enough to see her back in 2015 when I visited Curitiba.
@Enzo Did you take some photos of Pandinha ( or any other animal at this zoo ) because we still have not a single photo from this zoo ?
Hello, Vogel. I was eight at the time and wasn't very fond of taking pictures. My mom did take some, though. She also took some pictures of Pandinha, but they weren't that good.
