The zoo has a new red panda enclosure:

    Zoo de Granby -- BIENVENUE

It seems to be quite elaborate and Chinese themed which is interesting as I believe the zoo ultimately opted out of the giant panda agreement for Canada with Toronto and Calgary being the only zoos who will host them.

That red panda exhibit seems pretty nice. The theming looks better than the toronto zoo's new giant panda exhibit. Thanks for the picture!

I agree, thanks for the picture. I don't normally like themed buildings but this is quite nice.

Help name Granby's Amur Tiger triplets and Red Panda triplets.

The trio of choices for the tigers are
    Gara - Pavlov - Zima
    Youri - Spoutnik - Volga
    Oural - Kiev - Zima

The trio of choices for the pandas are
    Xia - Sakura - Zorro
    Sun - Xue - Tao
    Mei - Liao - Ming

There is a chance to win prizes if you are among the people who pick the winning trios.

Wow my tour is interesting. They went at a great time and you can see tons of the animals in their exhibits up fairly close. People who have never been should take the google tour.

The kangaroo joey has been abandoned by its mom and is now being hand reared by keepers.

A new Japanese Macaque exhibit has opened.
