I convinced my mom to visit the zoo today, making this my second visit to the zoo. I'll be uploading photos I took during my visit.
Andean condor, Picchu, will be heading to a zoo in Ostrava, Czech Republic where he will be paired with a female he can eventually breed with. The new lion exhibit is set to open mid June. A mandrill infant was born to Akili and Tumbili.
Mara, Molly, had to have a c section to deliver her baby boy. Both mom and baby are recovering well and bonding. Unfortunately the second baby did not make it.
On my last visit, the mara exhibit, or at least the building behind it, was undergoing a refurbishment, and they weren't in it on my visit.

A Goeldi was born to first time mom Gabriella. Japanese macaque, Miu, has also given birth to her second baby.
The new lion exhibit is now open. A second mandrill infant has been born. The older baby has been named Kouma.

Visited about a week ago. Photos to be uploaded soon. Expect plenty of serow pics (the one species I wanted pictures of the most).
Jaguar Taiama gave birth to her second litter of cubs on August 6 according to a Facebook post. Original Facebook Announcement
Update on the jaguars, with detailing some of the zoo's conservation efforts too. Jaguar cubs are living the easy life, but they're part of an ambitious mission
Dholes and serows are great choices for new animals. Especially for dholes its great to see that program slowly expanding.
@nczoofan Note that the zoo already has serows, specifically Japanese (C. crispus). I do wonder if it will be another species of serow, making Granby uniqie among Canadian or even North American zoos for it.
