I made a 10 minute detour off the m25 today on the way home from visiting relatives, which has added a few. I will leave @Brum sweating for a while on how many of the possible species I saw whilst I look up the Latin names!!

I'm guessing at least two if you've been where I think you have, and one of them would be a lifer for me as well! ;)

    Barleylands by any chance?

Yeah, my heart stopped for a second or two, not gonna lie! ;):p

I haven't had the chance to do the full update, but the third was sugar glider which I saw.

The 4th, long eared hedgehog....... which I didn't!
So congratulations mate, you have the top UK score!

And was it worth the extortionate fee for the species there? ;)

Many thanks mate, and to you as well for being the UK European Challenge winner! ;) I'll be along to that thread to congratulate you properly when it's definitely confirmed! :p:D

It was only £7.25 today, which to see the four-eyed opossum and tailess tenrec wasn't too bad

Can't complain at that, shame it really is too far from mine to justify a daytrip! And opossums (in general, not just this species) aren't exactly known for the longevity or self-sustainability in captivity so I am genuinely jealous as hell! :D

Not that it makes much difference but your list for me doesn't include Egyptian Fruit Bat which I listed for Five Sisters in the same post as the Edinburgh ones (Koala).
