The semi-finales are here! And as the rules go, two categories will now be in play for the remainder of the game and to start off, herps and carnivores. Tomorrow: San Diego Zoo vs Los Angeles
Crap. I misread something. For some reason I thought the Safari Park won. Forget anything I said, a vote for the Safari Park here is a vote for Miami. Same categories though. Miami has an impressive herp collection, multiple cat species and impressive habitats for both categories. Again, very sorry I misread . I don't know how that slipped by.
I think Bronx has won it for me. Bronx is solid in this category, with a decent reptile house, and a fair amount of terrariums scattered around the grounds. Miami looks to also have a decent selection of herps, especially from South America, but I think Bronx holds the advantage. Carnivores is also a good contest. Bronx’s merits were already discussed in their opening match against Minnesota (link here:ZooChat Cup S2 Match #1: Minnesota vs Bronx (4)), but needless to say, Bronx is strong in this category. Miami is decent, but can’t compete with the brilliance of the Bronx.
I wrote most of my posts before the name change, then finished it off 9 minutes ago, neglecting to read the rest of the thread . I’ve now edited it too suit the new zoo.
