Hi everyone, my name is Jade and I'm currently studying Zoology at university and progressing into 4th year. I'm struggling to think of a dissertation idea and was wanting some suggestions.

I am interested in studying animal behaviour and wanting to focus on mammals within Scotland. Was wondering if anyone has some good ideas or can point me in a good direction?

Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

How about, "An investigation of why years of British education leaves undergraduates unable to think for themselves"? :D

You could do a dissertation about attempts to remove introduced hedgehogs from South Uist and Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides. The hedgehogs eat eggs and chicks of ground nesting birds. This has led to conflict between people who want to conserve hedgehog populations and people who want to conserve birds. This subject should interest other people at your university.
