Penguins are getting expensive to feed (due to fish stocks being depleted) and I believe their facilities are expensive too (water filters and cooling systems). That might be why a lot of Zoos don't seem to have them.

LP Zoo in Chicago actually needs to find new zoo homes for all their penguins and other marine birds due to reconstructing a new facility for them.

True on LPZ, the Penguin House was pretty poor. I did enjoy seeing my first chinstarp penguins, razorbill, and common murres there.

The LA Zoo had penguins (not sure if they were black-footed or Magellianic), but they were in an exhibit that allowed them to get eaten by coyotes.

Update: Apparently the LA Zoo managed to kill 44 penguins in 10 years. I don't think that the LA Zoo should have any more penguins.

I don't want to cast aspersions on anyone, but this is one in a long series of weird questions that is starting to seem more like internet trolling than genuine inquiries.

I think we just have another overly passionate young person. With any luck he'll become a member worth chatting with rather than a pest to be "ignored."

Agreed! I just hope we won't get another Fossa Dude/Cincyzoo man as I don't think I could handle another round of that.
