According to ISIS there is a single female zorilla at "Paradise Wildlife Park", and that is it. Are there any zorillas kicking around at other zoos that are not registered on ISIS?
The other places I've seen them are Exmoor Zoo (Devon) and Amazon World (Isle of Wight), but neither had them on show at my last visit. There are actually none at all listed on Zootierliste - maybe some who can edit could add the Paradise Wildlife Park female? EDIT: For those who like to keep track of such things, the Paradise Zorilla is named 'Flower'.
Does it depend on breeding as to wether it is a Zorilla or a goreba. Like an alpaca llama mix which has different names depending in which was the sire and which was the dam. A zebra cross grollia, now thats something i never thought i would ever see. Now before i get thousands of abusive posts, i did google a zorilla and am now educated as to what one is. G;day from down under, site is an amazing wealth of info, thankyou everyone for your interesting contributions.
I am not totally certain of this but I have a feeling that there are a number of zorillas in private collections in the UK .
There is a zoo we visited a couple months ago in Kansas with a zorilla. Tanganyika Wildlife Park. Unfortunately, the zorilla is not on exhibit, I don't think. It serves as an animal ambassador and comes out only on special occasions. They are eventually looking to build an enclosure for it. Either way, really cool animal. Glad I got to see it.
I've seen a zorilla at RainForest Adventures Discovery zoo near Pigeon Forge in Kentucky, but that was over 6 years ago. I'm doubtful if they still have one.
What's the difference? On a more serious note, my disappointment (in myself) is immeasurable, and my day is ruined

That would be something special. It's just another one of the 'mustard lid' family of critters (which I do quite like).
