New series 3 part Series called "The Zoo" will be broadcast on Tuesday 9th November @ 8pm on ITV1. Duration 1 hour. An insight into the daily life for the staff and animals at London Zoo in Regent's Park and its country home at Whipsnade. Across the two sites, 800 keepers look after more than 21,000 creatures, and after a cold and financially grim winter, there are big plans to breed gorillas and vultures. However, complications set in when the birds prove to be murderous parents and the prize male gorilla falls ill. Narrated by Richard Denton. https://www.zsl.org/zsl-london-zoo/...NS.html?Ref=email&dm_i=7U7,AJCZ,1GY52P,SWRF,1
Surely that should read 800 staff, they can't have 800 keepers? Looks like it will be a very interesting watch though.
Radio Times The 800 Keepers is from the Radio Times which does sound way too many. The Zoo - Tuesday 09 November - Programme Details - Radio Times
