Hello Guys i want to ask what is your Favorite AMNH Diorama?

I have never been to the AMNH but on Google Maps you can see most of the Dioramas and you can explore the American Museum für Natural History for Free.

By the way my Favorite AMNH Diorama is probably the Leopard stalking the hog, but i also Like the Elephants, rhinos, Brown bears and Gorillas.

I haven’t been there in years, but I remember finding the jaguar diorama really cool as an 8-year-old. It was how I learned they were native to the deserts of the southwestern states.

The wolf pair running through the snow under the aurora borealis is probably my favourite diorama at the AMNH.

A close second would be the jaguar at dawn canyon diorama too also in the North American mammal hall.

Hard to choose, but my vote goes to the "African Waterhole" with beisa, Grant's gazelle, Grévy's zebra and giraffe for the Akeley Hall and the spotted skunk in defensive position facing two ringtails for North America.

It seems I have been a bit to selective in taking photographs of the dioramas of the AMNH. I couldn't remember the klipspringer diorama, so I searched photos of it on internet and I now regret not taking a photo of it. Which other species of antelope and which species of baboon are in it?

I think the Antilope is a mountain reedbuck and the baboon is a Olive baboon. There are also yellow spotted Rock hyrax in the baboon/klippspringer dorama.

There are Blue wildebeest, Plains zebra, Lichtensteins hartebeest, topi, eland, thomsons Gazelle and Grants Gazelle in the Plains Diorama.

From the list I voted African Elephants, but my favorite diorama is the Banteng in the Hall of Asian Mammals. I love the bamboo and the whole arrangement of the diorama. It's composition reminds me of Jan van Eyck's famous Arnofini Portrait. A second favorite would be the Eld's Deer corner diorama because they're my favorite deer species.

I really like the Bison and Pronghorn diorama, Moose diorama, Black Bear diorama, and the dioramas in the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Hall.
